On Thursday May 10 from 12:30 to 3 pm at the Sound Schoolhouse in Mount Desert, the MDI Historical Society will team up with the Barn Arts Collective for “The Vintage Classroom: A Day in the Sound Schoolhouse, 1895.” This interactive performance introduces participants to the history of Mount Desert Island at the turn of the 20th century. This program is suitable for ages 8 and up. Admission is free, but space is limited, so please RSVP at 276-9323 or to eloise.schultz@mdihistory.org.
