Benefit Concert in Blue Hill – CANCELLED

On Saturday October 27th, at 7:00 pm, the First Congregational Church of Blue Hill will be hosting a benefit concert for the Dolly Fisher Fund featuring The Loose Cannon Jug Band. The band plays a range of traditional jug band music and early blues from the 1920’s and 30’s, along with some originals, with a distinctively DownEast Maine feel. Founded in 2008, The Dolly Fisher Fund is named for the wife of the Church’s founding minister; Jonathan Fisher. The Fund is dedicated to providing emergency fuel, food and utility help for households on the Blue Hill Peninsula, and informing the public about other available resources.
