In Celebration of National Trails Day, volunteers are needed for Branch Lake Public Forest Clean Up on Saturday, June 4, from 9 to noon. All participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win gift cards to nearby businesses. Breakfast treats and coffee will be provided. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes & work clothes and bring gloves, drinking water & bug spray. Meet in the parking lot at the Public Forest (6.5 miles North on the Bangor Road from the corner of Main and Oak Street.) Rain date is June 11 and will be posted on the City of Ellsworth’s Facebook page and website, as well as broadcast on WNSX 97.7 FM.
