Volunteers are needed to help clean up Card Brook in Ellsworth on Saturday, May 13, from 9:30 to noon. All participants will be entered into a raffle for gift cards from various businesses. First 10 people to register will receive a free pizza. Breakfast treats will be provided. Participants should wear sturdy footwear that can get wet or muddy and work gloves. Meet at the parking lot on the west side of Hannaford (right side if you’re facing the store) in Ellsworth to sign-in and receive further directions. This event is being organized by the City of Ellsworth and Frenchman Bay Conservancy.
