Community Appreciation Party at Southwest Harbor Public Library

The staff and trustees of the Southwest Harbor Public Library invite everyone to come to the library on Friday, Jan. 6, from 5:30-7 p.m. for a community appreciation party.  There will be music compliments of the Kelley Farm Band, refreshments and the fun of getting together. Library Journal, the industry’s leading periodical, once again awarded Southwest Harbor Public Library a five star rating — the highest it gives. Out of nearly 7,400 public libraries in the United States, only 260 receive a star rating, which can range from three stars to five.  For more information, call the library at 244-7065.
