The next meeting of the Ellsworth Historical Society is Monday Feb 12th at 7 pm at Ellsworth City Hall Auditorium. There will be a short business meeting, followed by guest speaker, Charlie Mock. His topic is the 1939 “Dynamite Disaster” which concerns the Ellsworth Grindal family’s tragic loss at their home on the Bangor Road in Holden. This meeting is free and open to the public.
