Emmaus Homeless Shelter Needs Your Help

October 5, 2017
With colder weather on its way, the Emmaus Homeless Shelter in Ellsworth reports that they’re receiving at least 18 phone calls every day from people who are requesting assistance. Added expenses during cold weather months make it more difficult for families to make ends meet.
The Emmaus Homeless Shelter has set a goal of raising $5500 during October so that they can give assistance to the many Hancock County residents who are requesting help. If EVERY resident OF Hancock County (approximately 54,419) donated just ONE DIME, they’d reach their goal!
This coming Tuesday, October 10th – Star 97.7’s Bill DaButler is going to broadcast live from Pat’s Pizza in Ellsworth from 4 to 6! We’ll be asking folks to drop off any spare change that they have (dollar bills work too), to help us help the shelter to reach their $5500 goal. Can you help?
