On Saturday, June 22 at 10 am there will be a Fern Walk sponsored by Island Heritage Trust. Maine master naturalist Jeff Pengel will discuss identification and ecology of ferns, horsetails and clubmosses, and how they compare to flowering plants. Meet at the Island Heritage Trust building in Deer Isle. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. For more information, call 348-2455.
