Healthy Acadia, working in partnership with restaurants in Hancock and Washington counties and the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center, is launching “Hungry for Health” 2017, a campaign to “Challenge Cancer Downeast.”
The campaign will kick off with an event at Pat’s Pizza in Ellsworth on Wednesday, April 5, from 5-8 p.m. Healthy Acadia staff and volunteers will host, bus and serve dinner for Pat’s Pizza diners throughout the evening. All tips will go to fund needed cancer prevention, education and treatment services.
