Lantern Walk in Southwest Harbor

In preparation for the lantern walk, the Southwest Harbor Public Library invites all to come make lanterns on Friday, Nov 16, anytime between 3 and 5 pm. Supplies will be provided, but if you have a tall wide mouth jar, please bring it.  The lantern walk will take place at 5:30 pm. Participants will meet at the High Road parking lot in Southwest Harbor and walk down Causeway Lane with their lanterns lit. After the walk, everyone is invited back to the library for a simple meal of soup and bread. Please bring your own place setting. Also, please call Susan Plimpton, children’s librarian, if you can make soup or help in any way.
