The Beatrix Farrand Society is holding Open Days at Garland Farm in Bar Harbor on Thursday July 5 from 1 to 5 pm. Garland Farm is the last home of Beatrix Farrand, the noted landscape designer renowned for her private estate gardens. All are invited for an informal tour of the house, library and grounds. No reservations are necessary. A donation of $5 is suggested. For more information, call 288-0237.
