Blue Hill Heritage Trust’s Spring Conservation Lecture Series continues on Monday, April 23, at the Blue Hill Public Library with “The Changing Nature of the Maine Woods.” Professor Drew Barton from UMaine-Farmington will talk about the history of the land, its tremendous variety and its future in Maine. Barton will also address the environmental threats and the impact of climate. The lecture is scheduled for 7 pm and will be preceded by a reception at 6:30.
