The annual Strawberry Festival in Somesville is a tradition going back over 40 years. On Tues July 9 from 1 to 3 pm, enjoy strawberry shortcake topped by whipped cream at the Somesville Fire Station. This event is co-hosted by the Mount Desert Island Historical Society and the Seal Cove Auto Museum. There will be lemonade and iced tea as well.
