The Surry Historical Society will present an illustrated talk, “Alice in Timberland,” on Monday, July 15, at 7 pm at Old Town Hall, 1217 Surry Road. Hear stories of good times and bad times in Surry in the 1940s based on the resurrected personal diaries of a local housewife. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
