Take Pride in Acadia Day is scheduled for Saturday, Nov 4 from 8 to noon. Hundreds of people from area groups and organizations will volunteer to help maintain historic Carriage Roads in Acadia National Park. Volunteers should meet at park headquarters on Eagle Lake Road in Bar Harbor. There will be a chili, cornbread and cider lunch, plus cake, following the event. Pre-registration is required.
