The Grand will screen the first part of MPBN’s new series “The Great American Read” on Monday, May 21 at 7 pm, presented by The Ellsworth Public Library. Tickets are free for everyone. A new eight-part television competition and nationwide campaign, the show explores the power of books and the joy of reading through the lens of America’s 100 best-loved novels, as voted on by the public.
