Travel Talk at Ellsworth Public Library

In a talk at the Ellsworth Public Library on Thursday Feb 1 at 6 pm, Dan DeLuca, of chessmaine.net and Maine Chess Association vice president, will share his photos from Bhutan, where he played chess in the foothills of the Himalayas, paid homage at the final resting place of Mahatma Gandhi and visited the oldest, continually running chess club in the world. Dick Powell, host of the Ellsworth Chess Club, will present photos from his return trip to Madagascar, after 47 years. For more information, call the library at 667-6363.
