Join “Explore Outdoors!” in celebrating Earth Day with worms at the Blue Hill Public Library on Tues April 23 at 3:30 pm. Kids will learn about the different kinds of worms, the benefits of having composting worms and their importance to ecosystems. Participants will then put together their own worm habitat, “vermicondos,” to bring home and observe how worms eat and process food waste.  There is no charge and everyone is welcome.
