Events for October 7, 2017

Breakfast will be served at Bayview Hall, High Street in North Brooklin, on Saturday, Oct 7, from 6:30-9:30 am. This all-you-can-eat fundraiser will include eggs, ham, pancakes, breakfast casseroles, home fries, home baked goods and beverages. The cost is $6 per person, with proceeds benefiting upkeep of the historic building.  

On Sat Oct 7 “Soles for Souls”5k Race with runners & walkers will go through the woods and on dirt roads at Homewood Farm in Blue Hill to raise money to buy shoes for kids in Nicaragua.   Registration begins at 7:30 am or you can pre-register by grabbing a form at the Blue Hill YMCA. […]

The Dorcas Library in Prospect Harbor is holding an attic treasures, crafts and bake sale on Saturday, Oct 7, from 8 to 1 pm. All proceeds will benefit the library. For more information, call 963-4027.  

The Bucksport Garden Club is holding a fall plant and bake sale on Saturday, Oct 7, from 9 to noon at 74 Main St. (across from Community Pharmacy). There will be plants, bulbs, pies, baked goods, books and crafts, plus a raffle.  

The next meeting of the Machias Green Space Sub-Committee is taking place this Saturday, October 7th starting at 9am at Expressions Gallery & Studio at 11 Main Street in Machias. The meeting agenda includes review of what has been planted so far, and planning for the spring of 2018.
