Blue Hill Women’s Health Care to Offer Childbirth Education Classes

Blue Hill Women’s Health Care announces a series of Childbirth Education classes this spring.  Suzanne Norgang, Certified Nurse Midwife at Blue Hill Women’s Health Care, invites mothers-to-be to attend the April Childbirth Education Series.  Topics to be covered include: the process of normal birth and complications as well as techniques to help the birth go smoothly.

The classes are free and open to the public and will be held Tuesdays, April 7, 14, and 28 5-6:30 pm.   Suzanne Norgang invites women who are expecting a baby and interested in learning more about the process of birth, breastfeeding or newborn care to join the series of classes. She says, “women today are inundated with messages and information from our abundant media sources but this doesn’t necessarily leave them feeling more informed, more empowered or more prepared to give birth. This series brings together mothers and fathers to-be to learn and ask questions in a relaxed setting. We want the birth of a baby to be a positive experience and understanding the process sets the foundation for that.”
