  • This event has passed.

January 4, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

A discussion group about Michael Eric Dyson’s book “Tears We Cannot Stop: A Sermon to White America” will be at the Blue Hill Public Library in January. This group will meet on two Thursdays, Jan. 4 and 11, from 1 to 3 pm, to discuss the book. Books are available to check out now at the library.  In his book, Dyson argues that if we are to make real racial progress we must face difficult truths, including being honest about how black grievance has been ignored, dismissed or discounted. This event is open to all and free of charge, but space in this group is limited, so advance registration is required.
