How Music Enriches Lives Talk at Ellsworth Public Library

The Ellsworth Public Library is hosting music therapist, Alan Wittenberg, on Thursday, May 11 at 6 pm for a talk about how music can enrich lives from the beginning to the end of life, especially for those challenged by a range of disabilities, diseases and mental health issues. The talk will include a special focus on autism spectrum disorders and Alzheimer’s disease as well a music therapy in medical settings. This program will include video case study illustrations as well as hands-on instrumental and vocal activities. No prior music skills are needed. For more information, call the library at 667-6363.
