The Tremont Historical Society brings Linda Robinson, a member of Island Quilters, to the Bass Harbor Memorial Library at Pacific Hall at 7 pm on Monday, Sep. 23, for a slide show and talk on the history and art of quilting. Linda will talk about old traditional quilt patterns, the fellowship of a quilting bee, and messages embedded in quilts for the Underground Railroad.
