Whale Program in Blue Hill

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to get swallowed whole by a whale?? Wonder no more! The Shaw Institute, a nonprofit research center in Blue Hill, invites the public to meet the Ladder, a 65-foot inflatable fin whale that families can walk through to learn all about the whale’s anatomy, adaptations, and conservation. Come see Ladder in the Blue Hill YMCA’s gym on July 13th from 10am to noon. Families can also enjoy hands-on activities led by local organizations like the Blue Hill Heritage Trust, Allied Whale, and more!
