Book Sale in Tremont
The Bass Harbor Memorial Library is holding its annual fundraising book sale on August 14th and 15th from 9 to 4 under the library tent at 89 Bernard Rd in Tremont. In addition to books for adults and children, there will be puzzles, games and DVDs, with sale price by donation. For more info, call 244-3798.

The SPCA of Hancock County in Trenton is holding a Yard Sale over Labor Day weekend. If you have items that you'd like to donate TO the sale, you may do so by dropping them off at the SPCA on Route 3 in Trenton any day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. An ATV Ride and Pig Roast Benefit is happening on Sat Aug 21 beginning at 10 am at the ATV Club House, 35 Osgood Lane in Lincoln. The Pig Roast is from 4:30 to 6 pm at the Club site.
