Come to the Island Community Center on Saturday, November 28th for the annual Stonington Holiday Craft Fair! This event is part of Shop Small Saturday and is a way to promote local small bussinesses. There will be over 40 local crafters, artisians and small business vendors. The Island Fishermen’s Wives Association will be decorating cookies with the kids and at 11am Santa, Mrs. Claus and one of their jolly elves will be there. If you’re feeling a little shy or just want to make absoulte sure Santa knows what you want for Christmas you can write him a letter and leave it while you’re there and he will be sure to write back to you! As always admission to this event is free, though this year it would be great if families could bring a pet food or toilerty item to donate to the Island Food Pantry. While you’re in town don’t forget to stop by some of the other bussinesses like Harbor Cafe, the Dry Dock, Harbor View Store, NAPA, Suzy’s Scissor Shack, Island Approaches/Main Camp Outfitters or Marlin Spike Chandlery for some great gifts or even gift certificates!
