The Blue Hill Public Library is hosting a 75th anniversary bash on Friday, Oct 2, from 5 to 8 pm. The public is invited to a swing dance party. Music will be provided by the George Stevens Academy Jazz Band. Dance demonstrations and lessons will be provided. Period costumes are optional, but encouraged with some costume bits provided for a 1940s photo booth. Sidle up to the soda fountain, snack on treats and grab a piece of birthday cake before or after visiting other Blue Hill First Friday offerings. For more information, contact the library at 374-5515.
