Acadia Volunteers Presentation at Southwest Harbor Public Library

As part of the Acadia Centennial, Mike Hays has been researching the work of volunteers who have been involved in maintenance and improvement activities within Acadia National Park – especially trails, carriage roads and infrastructure. On Tuesday, Sept 6, at 5:30 pm his presentation at the Southwest Harbor Public Library begins with the founding of ANP and will cover the relationship between the park and volunteers and volunteer organizations from pre-World War II to present.  For more information, call the library at 244-7065.
