Addison’s Memorial Day activities begin at 10 am on Monday, May 27, at the Mayhew Library on Water Street. A procession will then head to the town landing for a ceremony tossing a wreath into the water. The ceremony will be led by VFW Post 11553 of Harrington. After that, the group will proceed to Church Hill Cemetery for a flag-raising, speakers and bagpipes. A bus will be available for those who don’t want to walk. Refreshments will be served afterward at the Town Hall.
