On Friday, Nov 13, from noon to 1:30 pm at the Ellsworth Public Library, speaker Kandyce Powell will present a program titled “ALS and Veterans.” ALS (or Lou Gehrig’s disease) is a debilitating illness. Kandyce will share information about the disease and her years of clinical experience caring for patients with ALS. The program is free of charge, but reservations are required for planning purposes.
