An astronomy program will guide a 50-minute journey through the solar system into our home galaxy, the Milky Way, and beyond to the edge of the visible universe on Tues Aug 20 at 8 pm. Weather permitting, a 30-minute outside laser tour of the summer night sky will follow. Space is limited. The program will be held in the Wright Hall Room on the Schoodic Institute campus in Winter Harbor. The cost is $20. Register online at schoodicinstitute dot org. For more information, call 288-1310.
