Judith Burger-Gossart, who will be speaking at the Dorcas Library in Prospect Harbor on Oct 4 at 3 pm, is the author of the book “Sadie’s Winter Dream: Fishermen’s Wives & Maine Sea Coast Mission Hooked Rugs.” She has curated hooked rug exhibits, written articles and catalogs on rug hooking, and given numerous talks on the subject.
