The Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce’s Autumn Gold celebration has a host of events scheduled for Saturday, Sept 24. Highlights include the 33rd annual car show at Home Depot (8 a.m.-1 p.m.), the annual Chowderfest competition on the waterfront (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.), Union River boat rides (1-4 p.m.) and the new beer and wine tasting tent (1-4 p.m.) For more information, visit www.ellsworthchamber.org or call 667-5584.
