The Mount Desert Island Historical Society is hosting a baked bean dinner at MDI High School on Mon Jan 21 from 6 to 8 pm. The dinner will include a presentation by Nat Fenton titled “The Good Samaritan, the Letter and the Mountaintop: Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Last Speech.” Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and will be sold only at the door.
