BBQ and Dance in Surry

A barbecue and dance benefit is scheduled for Saturday, July 27, from 5-9 pm at the Arbutus Grange in Surry. The menu will include barbecued ribs, chicken, baked beans, pulled pork, corn, salads, dessert and drinks. Music will be provided by local musicians and the Frye Mountain Band. The event also will include a 50-50 raffle, Chinese auction and basket raffle. Admission is $10. For more information, call Jamie at 412-2054.
