“Being Mortal” Discussion at Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor

Community members are invited to read “Being Mortal” and to join in two community discussions sponsored by MDI Hospital and the Jesup Memorial Library in Bar Harbor. The first session will be held on Saturday, Feb. 13, from 2–3:30 pm and will focus on care of the elderly.
Copies of “Being Mortal” by Atul Gawande will be available through interlibrary loan at the Jesup Memorial Library or for purchase at Sherman’s Bookstore, and the discussions will be led by Ann Diamond, Ph.D., of MDI Hospital’s Behavioral Health Center.
