Benefit Dinner in Calais

A benefit dinner is planned for the Calais toddler who suffered serious burns to his body last week. One-and-a-half-year-old Wyatte Chandler was sitting on his mom’s lap next to a backyard fire when his dad poured accelerant on the flames and accidentally spilled some on the boy. Chandler was taken to a local hospital then flown to Boston where he continues recovering at Shriner’s Hospital for Children. A spaghetti supper will be held this Saturday June 22 from 4 to 8 at the St. Croix Bowling Club on Main Street in Calais. The cost is $10 per person or $30 per family.
