Benefit Supper in Ellsworth

St. Andrew Lutheran Church is hosting a supper on Friday, Sept. 25, from 5:30 to 7 pm in conjunction with the Autumn Gold event. The menu will include seafood casserole, calico beans, shepherd’s pie, salad, rolls and homemade desserts. This month, the church is partnering with St. Joseph’s Catholic Church to benefit Andy Mays, a fisherman from Southwest Harbor who has cancer. There is no set price, but donations will be accepted. All proceeds will be given to Mays and his family to help with expenses. For more information, call 667-7641.
