Bess the Book Bus will be visiting the Camden National Bank parking lot in Milbridge from 3 to 5 pm on Friday, Sept. 4. Bess the Book Bus is a mobile literacy outreach dedicated to building home libraries for children and families that otherwise may not have the opportunity to own books. Area children can visit the bus and pick out a free book to take home. Free popcorn will be provided and Maeve Perry will be doing face-painting.
