There will be a free, slow bike ride around the Lamoine Peninsula from 11 to 4 pm on Sunday, Aug 28. There are plotted routes from two to 18 miles and most routes are reasonable. Maps and registration are available from 11 to 4 pm at the Lamoine Consolidated School. You may come and go off routes whenever you wish, but please register so that interest can be gauged for future events.

Rides are safe for novice and experienced riders. The event is being sponsored by the Lamoine Recreation Committee, Cadillac Mountain Sports, Lamoine General Store and Bar Harbor Bike Shop.
