Blue Hill Memorial Hospital Offers Flu Clinics

Blue Hill Memorial Hospital will be offering flu clinics by appointment or walk-in for patients of Blue Hill Memorial Hospital Family Medicine practices. “The ‘walk-in’ option was added this year, as we hope to reach even more members of our community this flu season,” explains chief nursing officer Kathy Lirakis, RN. “We understand that convenience is important to our patients, so we are making sure that obtaining this year’s flu vaccine is as easy as possible.”
Blue Hill Family Medicine will offer a flu clinic on October 19 and 26 from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm. Patients who wish to receive an immunization at this location should call the practice at 374-2311 to schedule an appointment.
Island Family Medicine in Stonington will offer flu clinics on October 21 and November 5 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Patients who wish to schedule an appointment at this practice should call 367-2311.
Castine Community Health Services will offer flu clinics on October 12 and 21 between 8:00 am and 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Appointments can be made by calling 326-4348.
Patients may also choose to walk in, unscheduled, to the 1st floor of the Sussman Medical Office Building on the Blue Hill Memorial Hospital campus for their flu vaccine. Flu shots will be available for walk-ins on Wednesday and Friday mornings between 7:00 am and 9:00 am and Wednesday evenings from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm starting October 14 through November 6.
Blue Hill Memorial Hospital Family Medicine practices in Blue Hill, Castine, and Stonington provide compassionate, attentive care. Providers have the ability to refer patients to a variety of specialty care services including cardiology, orthopedics, diabetes education, rehabilitation, oncology, general surgery, and urology in Blue Hill.
