Blue Hill Women’s Health Care to Host 4th Annual “Birth” Day Party in the Town Park

Once again, Blue Hill Women’s Health Care (BHWHC), a department of Blue Hill Memorial Hospital will hold a “Birth” Day party.  The Party in the Park, an ice cream social, is scheduled for Sunday, September 13 at 1:00 pm in the Blue Hill town park. Since the fall of 2009, over 300 babies have been born to mothers cared for by Blue Hill Women’s Health Care providers.

BHWHC is excited to hold the event again this year, as it presents both a chance for mothers of babies and young children to spend time together as well as a very special opportunity for the providers and staff to reconnect with families.

Along with the babies, BHWHC continues to grow.  Their goal is to provide caring, high-quality, comprehensive gynecological services, including prenatal and obstetrical care, to women throughout their lives.  They give thoughtful attention to women’s health issues and focus on providing preventive medical care along with the information needed to make healthcare decisions.  For more information about women’s health and midwifery services, please call Blue Hill Women’s Health Care at 374-3940.
