The Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library are holding a May book sale on Thur May 2 from 4 to 7 pm. The sale will be held in the library’s Riverview Room at 20 State St. in Ellsworth. Both youth and adult books will be featured, nonfiction and fiction. Gardening, travel, poetry, opera, how-to-books and tabletop books will be available. Most items will be on sale for $1 or less.
