“Cecily’s Summer” Performance in Southwest Harbor

As part of the Bar Harbor Kids Book Festival, the Barn Arts Collective will present a musical adaptation of local author Nan Lincoln’s popular children’s book “Cecily’s Summer” at the Southwest Harbor Public Library on Friday, Oct 9, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

“Cecily’s Summer” is a tale about a family on Mount Desert Island that raised a harbor seal pup after it washed up on the shore of Pretty Marsh. The program will feature original music, puppets and a special appearance by the kids from the Harbor House after-school program. After the performance, Nan Lincoln will be available for questions.
