Chainsaw Safety Class in Deer Isle

A full-day chainsaw training class with a certified logging professional will be held at the Island Heritage Trust in Deer Isle on Saturday, June 20, from 9 to 3:30 pm. Topics to be covered in the classroom and out at practice site include service and care of chainsaw, safety gear and handling, safe cutting techniques and cutting approaches for different situations.
