Join Child and Family Opportunities, Inc on Friday, October 2, 2015, for a special film screening of The Raising of America followed by a panel discussion consisting of a former Head Start parent, a pediatrician specializing in behavioral development, the Ellsworth Chief of Police, and the Child and Family Opportunities St. Croix Center Coordinator. Learn why high quality childcare and education are critical for improving outcomes for America’s children and what we as a community can do to make it accessible.
The event is taking place at The Grand in Ellsworth. It starts at 6:00 pm and goes until 9:00 pm. Light fare will be served. Catered by Bar Harbor Catering Co. This is a free event.
