Civil War Program in Ellsworth

The Ellsworth Historical Society welcomes Civil War historians, Diane Monroe Smith and Ned Smith of Holden, Maine as guest speakers at their meeting on Monday, September 13^th, 7pm at the Chamberlain House located at 357 State Street in Ellsworth Falls.  Their subject matter is telling the stories of Civil War soldiers whose graves they have visited throughout the State of Maine.  They’ve written several Civil War themed books which will be on sale that evening.
