Clean-up Event for Card Brook in Ellsworth

The city of Ellsworth and Frenchman Bay Conservancy are partnering to host a clean-up event for Card Brook on April 30 from 9:30 to noon. Clean-up activities will include walking the banks of Card Brook and picking up litter. All participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win gift cards to nearby businesses. Breakfast treats and snacks will be provided. Participants should wear sturdy footwear that can get wet/muddy and bring work gloves. Participants are encouraged to sign up ahead of time so that the work day activities can be planned accordingly. Participants will meet at the parking lot on the west side of Hannaford Supermarket (right side if you are facing the store) in Ellsworth.
