Friends in Action is holding a fundraiser. Dinner with Friends, an authentic Greek dinner and live auction, will be held on Friday evening, Oct 16, starting with cocktails at 5:30 at the Moore Senior Center on State Street in Ellsworth. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit Friends in Action’s volunteer transportation program and Senior Center. Tickets, which are limited, are $60 per person, and must be purchased before Oct 16. For tickets and information, call Joyce Snow at 667-4590.
