One of the most spectacular sights of autumn is the migration of hawks, falcons and other raptors as they ride the thermals over ridges and mountains. Maine Audubon naturalist Doug Hitchcox will explain how to identify migrating raptors at a talk sponsored by Downeast Audubon on Friday, Sept. 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ellsworth.
